Pure quantitative characterization of finite simple groups

Let G be a finite group, and let π _e (G) be the set of all element orders of G. In this short paper we prove that π _e (B _n (q)) ≠ π _e (C _n (q)) for all odd q.      

Solvothermal Synthesis of Molybdenum Disulfide Hollow Spheres Modified by Cyanex 301 in Water–Ethanol Medium

Hollow spherical molybdenum disulfide has been successfully synthesized via a solvothermal method using Cyanex 301 as sulfur source and modification agent. The hollow spheres are characterized by transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and Energy-Dispersive X-ray analysis. The influences of reaction conditions are also discussed while a mechanism is proposed to explain the formation of the peculiar morphology.     

样条空间S~μ_k（△）的维数

本文考虑了欧式空间Ｒ￣ｎ中任意单纯形剖分上的样条函数空间．证明了当ｋ≥（３μ＋１）２￣（ｎ－２）＋１时，计算任意单纯形剖分Δ上的ｋ次μ阶光滑样条空间的维数，可归结为计算每个σ－关联域（ｉ－单纯形σ∈Δ）Ｒ（σ）上的２￣（ｎ－ｉ－１）μ次μ阶光滑（ｉ≤ｎ－１）样条空间的维数。这里σ－关联域Ｒ（σ）是指Δ中所有包含σ的单纯形所成的单纯形剖分．     

La掺杂浓度对PLZT薄膜红外光学性质的影响

采用溶胶-凝胶法在Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si衬底上制备了不同La掺杂浓度PLZT(x/40/60)薄膜- x射线衍射分析表明制备的PLZT(x/40/60)薄膜是具有单一钙钛矿结构的多晶薄膜- 通过红外椭圆偏振光谱仪测量了波长为2-5—12-6μm范围内PLZT薄膜的椭偏光谱，采用经典色 散模型拟合获得PLZT薄膜的红外光学常数，同时也拟合获得PLZT薄膜的厚度- 随着La掺杂浓 度的增大，折射率逐渐减小- 而消光系数除PLZT(4/40/60)薄膜外，呈现逐渐增大的趋势- 分析表明这些差异主要与PLZ 关键词： PLZT薄膜 红外光学性质 红外椭圆偏振光谱     

On a phase-change problem arising from inductive heating

In this paper we study a phase-change problem arising from induction heating. The mathematical model consists of time-harmonic Maxwell’s system in a quasi-stationary field coupled with nonlinear heat conduction. The enthalpy form is used to characterize the phase-change in the material. It is shown that the problem has a global solution. Moreover, it is shown that the solution is unique and regular in one-space dimension even with an unbounded resistivity. This work is supported in part by a NSF grant: DMS-0102261     

用实体手当作教学模型的尝试

介绍了在有机化学教学实践中总结的用实体手当作教学模型的三方面实例。该方法简便、快捷实用,可以方便学生的学习。     

利用富铈混合稀土改善工业纯铝中富铁相形貌的研究

利用金相分析方法研究了富Ce混合稀土变质对含不同Fe量的工业纯铝的组织和其中富铁相形貌的影响。试验结果表明,随着Fe含量的增加,富铁相由弥散细小的颗粒状向短棒状、长针状转变;富Ce混合稀土变质使铝中的富铁相由长针状变为弥散细小的颗粒状。随着稀土含量的增加,-αAl晶粒逐渐细化,富铁相尺寸及数量逐渐减小。添加0.5%稀土时,-αAl晶粒细化效果最佳,而且富铁相呈细小颗粒状均匀分布在-αAl基体的晶界处。本文还对稀土改善富铁相的机制进行了分析。     

Bivariate Recursive Equations on Excess-of-loss Reinsurance

This paper investigates bivariate recursive equations on excess-of-loss reinsurance. For an insurance portfolio, under the assumptions that the individual claim severity distribution has bounded continuous density and the number of claims belongs to R1 （a, b） family, bivariate recursive equations for the joint distribution of the cedent＇s aggregate claims and the reinsurer＇s aggregate claims are obtained.     

Concentration factors for functions with harmonic bounded mean variation

We discuss determination of jumps for functions with generalized bounded variation. The questions are motivated by A. Gelb and E. Tadmor [1], F. Móricz [5] and [6] and Q. L. Shi and X. L. Shi [7].
